Eric Roberts Stars in Supernatural Crime Thriller “Holy Father”
SRHP Films is bringing faith, crime and the supernatural together in “Holy Father,” an upcoming horror crime thriller written and directed by Shravan Tiwari. Set in Augusta, Georgia, the film presents a dark investigation into possession, unexplained events and a series of violent crimes that force spiritual and law enforcement worlds to collide.
The film stars Academy Award-nominated actor Eric Roberts as Father Isaac Wales, a seasoned Catholic priest and exorcist called into a disturbing case that appears to go far beyond a single act of possession. As the threat grows, Father Wales must confront forces that challenge both his faith and his understanding of evil.
“Holy Father” also features Mary Lirette as Luna Green, a psychic medium connected to the investigation, and Bryan Easley as Chief Detective Sam Harper, who leads the official search for answers. The cast also includes Zuhair Ahmed, Austin Lampe and Jonathan E. Simons.
Produced by Sandip Patel and Rita Patel, “Holy Father” is the second installment in the planned Holy Trilogy, following “Holy Ghost.” The series is expected to continue with “Holy Son,” further expanding the world created by Tiwari and his team.
With a runtime of 90 minutes, “Holy Father” blends supernatural horror, crime investigation and psychological suspense. The film has been submitted to around 50 film festivals and has received awards and nominations during its festival journey, while the team continues to seek distribution opportunities and build audience awareness.
