NickGCherryDot reflects on a tumultuous life on the guitar-driven new album ‘The Perfect Storm’ Influenced by the sounds of classic Beatles-era rock and modern day alternative rock, NickGCherryDot is back with his latest offering ‘The Perfect Storm’, an album based on the events that cursaded in his life over the last few years. Lead single ‘The Perfect Storm’ is a warm and immersive listen through the veil of electric guitars and Nick’s emotive yet tender vocals.
A journey into his self-reflection following a marriage breakdown, losing his job and a late diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder, Nick reflects on moments of his life that have brought him to the place he is in now. The album is a dynamic mix of influences, thematic weight and style. Spanning from contemporary pop to classical jazz, it serves as a photo album of Nick’s life, carefully and lovingly curated into 12 tracks, each with an individual story.
