Celebrate Earth Day 2023 with Clíodhna Ní Aodáin’s “Full Circle – Cellos for Trees”
Clíodhna Ní Aodáin’s ‘Full Circle – Cellos for Trees’: A Call to Action On Earth Day 2023, award-winning Irish cellist Clíodhna Ní Aodáin released her single “Full Circle – Cellos for Trees”, in honor of her vision to plant 10,000 trees.
The single follows her highly successful albums “The Celtic Cello” and “Celtic Rituals”. Clíodhna Ní Aodáin, founder of The Celtic Cello, and Brenda Neece, founder of The Cello Museum, are calling on cellists from all over the world to join them in creating a beautiful music video project. “Full Circle – Cellos for Trees” is a multi-track composition that can be played by cellists of all levels of experience, from beginners to professionals.
Each cellist is asked to make a video of themselves playing their part of the song under their favorite tree. The videos will be combined to create a virtual forest of cellos and trees. Clíodhna draws on her background in classical and improvised music to create an otherworldly listening experience.
Her music is an acoustic portal to a realm that encourages listeners to renew their appreciation of our precious earth. “Full Circle – Cellos for Trees” is a call to action to create a better world for all of us.
