Not only serving as the lead single to the album, ‘Mykonos’ also serves as a love letter to Crabb’s wife. Singing about falling in love in a stripped back acoustic setting that gives him the perfect platform to deliver a vocal performance that will keep you hooked, it all culminates in an intimate song that deserves to be heard.
Having been released alongside a video, where we see contemporary dancer, Tess Howell, perform at the Langdon Centre in London, which is owned by Downs Syndrome Association, taking place here as a sign of respect to the ‘Mykonos’ engineer, whose daughter was born with downs syndrome.
With the single ‘Mykonos’ coming in January, the rest of the album will follow in 2023, which has been decades in the making. Recording a great deal of the album with a close friend before his passing, this album is a personal project from Crabb that will blow you away.
