REVIEW: Patrick Doval – ‘Soulless Machine’

Patrick Doval has teamed up with the legend that is Pete Parada (The Offspring) and their new single ‘Soulless Machine’ is an angsty and hard hitting tune that will leave you wanting more from this awesome team.
Alt-rock, pop-punk, carrying inspired elements from other icons such as Pink Floyd and QOTSA, Patrick Doval drops us into a whole new energy that is nothing short of really good music. The single has a real raw alt rock vibe to it that makes you want to yell the lyrics and without a care in the world. It proves his versatility and skill as an artist, lighting up both a nostalgic feeling and a feeling of something entirely new.
I believe that ‘Soulless Machine’ has something for everyone, the feeling of getting ready to explode; to being able to appreciate vocals and the emotive feelings and passion explored in this single. Overall an extremely passion-fuelled track, bringing forth depth, and unmistakable talent.
The single marks the latest in Patrick’s artistic history. To date he has released 6-albums and 22-music videos, all marked by Doval’s signature daring musical and visual style.
