‘Travelling Man’ – Nigel Thomas

‘Travelling Man’ – Nigel Thomas

Former Foxes frontman Nigel Thomas is set to release a beautiful collection of solo songs with his forthcoming album ‘Travelling Man’.

Counting among his fans Blur’s Dave Rowntree or Indie mogul Alan McGee, the singer/ songwriter has kick-started his solo career last year with his first single release ‘Fever’. Having toured with bands such as The Animals or The Troggs during his time in The Foxes, Nigel has started his solo project with a tour in the UK and Germany last year and has earned various compliments in the media. Online magazine Rockbandom has described his music as “vocally superb, lyrically supreme” as well as “honest, pure and fantastic.”

‘Travelling Man’ has been recorded at London’s Tilehouse Studios with help from Mike Oldfield’s son Luke. The album was mastered by John Davis at Metropolis Studios just after he’d been working on the latest Blur album and remastered Led Zeppelin. Apart from taking inspiration from musical heroes such as The Kinks or Elliott Smith the album was also massively influenced by the literary work from Bukowski to Borroughs and Palahniuk.
